Genndy Tartakovsky is a genius. Who? The man behind the classic shows such as Dexter's Laboratory and Powerpuff Girls. If these shows are classics, what a triumph then is Samurai Jack! Every maker of an 3 hour bloated, turgid, rambling, mess of a movie (Peter Jackson...get over here!) should be forced to watch the first two episodes of this fantastic series. He fits as much story into 48minutes a modern film maker fits into a trilogy of films. Every frame drives the story. Every scene has purpose. Every bit of dialog is well thought out. Coup is an unassuming game. The first time through felt obvious, if pleasant. The second time through it felt a little richer. Every time it ended, I wanted to play again. I’ve now played between 10-12 games, and each time it goes just a little deeper. If it was any longer, I’d call it a grower.
