GenCon!

...is 2 more days away.

Can't I have a bit more time to get ready. Please?

I've been stuffing my head with games *(new and refresher plays to get things up to speed) for the last 2 week solid. I'm sure everything will be fine when I get there, but as it is now, I worry about knowing everything. 

Also. Automatic van. Me. In an automatic. I'm going to have to sit on one leg most of the trip. Where is my clutch! Trip which is, incidentally 11 hours. I am a pro at this, and know it is better to drive (leg room!) than be a passenger. Plus, I always can stop for pee breaks when *I* need them, not just whine like a toddler. (I drink alot of coffee)

I dread the inbox when I get back. New game launches mean lots of questions, and invariably some bits to replace, and we're launching SO MUCH STUFF at once. I would normally consider even coming in on the 'relief' day we get after the con, but it's my birthday. I intend to slack, as the last 3 years I've had my birthday AT GenCon. Happy birthday! Now spend 11 hours of it in a van with your coworkers was last year.  My 30th birthday was spent demoing games for 8 hours... then carousing in the evening, to wake up and demo some more the next morning. 

Can I have a clone for my birthday? Sent a few days early? Thanks in advance.
