ConnCon, the convention that we North Eastern F:ATies have pretty much claimed as our own is about to wrap up and it was a damn good time. I arrived on Thursday and had a full four days of solid gaming. It will come as no surprise to people that have actually played with me that over that length of time I did not win a single solitary thing. That's one of the cool things about playing games with cool people is that the winning is really unimportant. That being said, I have...

I didn't get an Xbox 360 until 2010, I didn't start playing Heroscape until Wave 6, and I didn't get Mage Knight: The Board Game until about 3 weeks ago. The cool scent of dusk hovers, the sun will soon retire to silent slumber. The forest grows dark, but you are not fooled — under shadow lies life, and with breathe comes probable danger. You will ascend to the tower in the distance this midnight. Silhouette firm but ever fading, you know not what lies within its walls…it does not matter, it is no match for you, it is no match for a Mage Knight. One of the most rewarding moments for me as a fairly new board game enthusiast is infecting long...

"I just love the snow!" she giggled. "My office called and said we didn't have to come in because the roads are slippery so I can go make snow angels and then later I'll have a cup of hot cocoa with marsh mellows!" Her eyes scrunched up and a childish grin spread across her face. The tragedy was that, while she basked in a return to youth brought on by the frozen precipitation, she was completely oblivious to the doom hurtling directly at her face. A doom in the form of a fist attached to the end...
