Ever since seeing the little vignettes in the first Terminator movie, I have been waiting to see the movie where we finally see the war against the machines. I was happy to hear that this one was coming out and it would finally be that movie. Although, I would have been happy if they had left it at Terminator 2 with everything being averted. I was listening to the Boardgames To Go podcast the other day (I know, decidedly NOT AT, but still a decent podcast) and Mark Johnson and his guest Greg Pettit were discussing whether any of their favorite games, or what are considered the HOT games right now, would actually become "classics". This sounded like an interesting topic of conversation for an AT crowd, especially since there are arguably several "classic" AT games and relatively few (if any) Euros that could be considered "classic". Just did a quick post about cashflow linking to one done by Reiver Games publisher and an older one by myself on the blog.
Basically, Jack covers the upfront cost having to deal with publishing a game and cashflow he expects/will receive while mine deals with the sale of the games on an online retail level.
And yes, there's a difference between online retail and brick & mortar retail cashflow perspectives.
