Have played 3 times so far with groups of 6 and 8. Had a blast. We have noticed that the game is heavily stilted toward the aliens. And that the humans are more fun to play.

Oddly enough, the default map is the least interesting. With a ton of blank space, it ends up being rather more stupid than the larger, more dangerous maps.

Yes, this game is horrible. I warned people on F:AT two times already. If you're looking for something similar but good, try Snit Smashing.

"Cards just show symbols, and lots of them". Maybe lots of symbols for a 4-year old. You just check whether you get an object from the Danger card and there are like 8 items in the game so it's not hard to memorize them. I really like EFTAIOS, it's my group's favorite filler now.

Oh, I don't know, the name could be worse. They could have called it The Escape from the Aliens in Outer Space Game, for example. And Matt, you really shouldn't be so negative, you do realise that you're jeopardising next years expansion: Escape from the Humans in Outer Space (also available in two editions).

Good read, though (your review, not the game). ;)

Yeah I was disappointed to see there wasn't a board. I would have thought there would at least be something to mark the clues that pop up and provide a sense of unity. I haven't tried it yet though. Frank said he liked it better than "Nuns on the Run." That sort of game doesn't do muich for me unless there is more to it (like boobs and bombs for instance.)

Steve"couldn't plot my way out of a paper bag"Avery
