Hey, thanks for this nice review!
I'm glad you like the game, and I'm thankful for "the longer you play, the more you'll see the strategy unfold"... Because I agree that the first game can give a feeling of too much luck...
As for the narrative aspect, that was my main focus during design, that and balanced play.
About the constant aggression... Well... What can I say... Aggressive does not win... There, I said it!
And what about Marcus? In my mind, Marcus is both clever and innocent looking, the best guy in the band to hide something... Then again is he really hiding something, or do you want me to think he is? I've lost my last game because of him!

Okay, enough ranting, thanks again!

Yep, it's called Double Agent. I wrote about that one a few weeks ago:

Spoiler alert: I liked it.

FYI there is also a spy game in the same box format that is quite good too. Check it out!

Great game with very little exposure. Good call reviewing it.

Thanks. I'd read a review of this and it sounded like a disheartening upward slog. Now I'm interested again!

This is what Lost Cities should have been. Looks like another Asmodee game for my collection. I've read elsewhere it's entirely random but it sounds like there's just enough going on for its length to make a game of it.

Thanks for the review!
