Yeah, Rome is fantastic. I love how the two tales interweave. And you're right, Titus Pullo is one of the greatest characters of all time. I will join you in yelling "XIII!!"

One of my favorite television series up there in quality with the Sopranos, Carnivale, Deadwood, the Tudors, the Walking Dead and Hell on Wheels.

I watched every season and every episode. Great characters, great drama and a visceral feel for ancient Rome. Wonderful set.

I was having a similar thought. In my mind I had decided I was going to do two of these things a week. Monday or Tuesday for the first and Friday for the second.

I think I'll make the early week one more of a whatever I have seen recently be it streaming or not and the Friday one a stream only or currently playing in a theater.

The "up next" idea is a good one.

I think you'll get a lot more people talking about stuff if you focus more on movies that people can stream. From the talk the erupted when netflix split along with people dropping statements here and there I think the majority of commenters (if not readers) round here stream like motherfuckers but don't get real DVDs much anymore.

Also, previewing what's next might help cause then really interested parties could have a few days to watch it and join in when the post is fresh. I know I would if I had the time and it was streaming.

I should have stated the first season focuses on Julius Caesar and the second on Augustus.
