Wow, it's been April since I last wrote anything here.  Didn't realise it was that long, though I do know since Summer finally arrived I've not been visiting FAT much.  Things have just been too busy - running around getting more things sorted on the site, but also, finally having the time personally to do things like hike & spelunk.

I recently received a chargeback notification from our payment gateway for an order that was placed and delivered in December during XMas.  It was for $566.71 to an a**hole named (supposedly) Steve Marcil in Quebec.    After some research, it looks like it was  a completely fraudulent order - the payee was in Nova Scotia but the IP address is from Quebec, the phone number no longer works (if it did at all) and the customer used a free e-mail address and never registered an account.

It seems to be the quarter for taxes.  In the last few days, I've been dealing with various tax issues in one form or another.

We just finished a gaming convention this weekend.  It's the longest convention we do - 3 days in a different city, so we travel across the ferry mid-day and then set-up for a 5 to 9pm day on Friday.  Saturday is 9 to 9 and Sunday is 9 to 5pm.  Which means a rush of to hit the 7pm ferry back and a 10pm plus finish on unpacking.

The person we had helping with shipping left early this year to move to a new city.  Which left us short-handed again.
