Local store has many copies of Pax Porfiriana. Small game that ships cheaply, so great trade bait.

I just landed a new in shrink copy of Warriors of God (oop) for Pax. Pretty good deal. Combing BGG to see if there's anything else rare that I want...Band of Brothers: Screaming Eagles comes to mind

Traded away Mystery of the Abbey (which I picked up at a demo games sale for $5 a few years ago) for Spartacus. Got in two games of Spartacus this weekend. Speaking of, how does the intrigue phase work exactly? Does one player play all of his schemes/ cash in cards and then the next player goes? OR does the host play one card then the next player plays one card and so on until everyone passes?

The Host plays all his cards and then the next player, etc.. It's a massive advantage to go last.

I love it when games I don't really care about go out of print. Recent trade on BGG:

I shipped out the CAH: Holiday Pack (2012, new in package), Hera and Zeus, and Modern Art.

I got Power Grid and Survive: Escape from Atlantis (30th anniversary edition) + 5-6 player exp. + dolphin exp.

All of the games I got were NIS.

I traded Fjords, which I got for $15 online years back, for Wings of War Famous Aces, plus Burning Drachens, both of which contain an A damage deck for the game. You need about four of them to play a big group and you can't obtain them separately. Fjords is this tiny little box with some tiles and wooden disks pulling about $50 right now. Crazy.

I just traded Mayfair Cosmic for Wings of War Burning Drenches, Famous Aces, Watch your back!, and a pass to Origins. Pretty happy because I was going to Origins and hadn't bought a pass yet.

A friend of mine has been looking for PAX. What is the store ?

The store is Great Hall Games in Austin, Texas. They apparently have a relationship with the designer and also have a crate of Lords of the Sierra Nevada (boardgame version of Pax) for $20 each.

Neuroshima Hex + expansions is out, Race for the Galaxy + expansions is in.
