Several folks have asked me what rules I use for DDAS Campaigns. I've just cobbled together the great resources made from BGG users ninjadorg, chromaticdragon and geckoth and added a few things.

I've removed all of the heroes from the games and use more generic hero sheets (dry erase markers in page protectors) so that we can use a wide array of D&D minis and really mix it up. Plus, I'm not a fan of dragonborn and such, so those characters have been re-skinned. The balance is the same as the numbers haven't changed only the names. I have all of the D&D minis, ally cards, monster and treasure tokens, and dice in a plano. This way whenever we campaign I just have to grab that plano and whichever DDAS box we'll be adventuring in. I didn't want to have to get this bit from CR and that bit from WoA and the final bit from LoD every time we gamed. Plus, I use the same minis for Dungeon! so I can grab the plano when we play that as well.

I'm attaching the pdf of the rules, locations, and character sheets as well as links to all of the artscow decks that I use (there's an artscow special going on now for 20% off and free shipping - you always want to get free shipping with artscow). I've gotten all of these cards, and it'll run you a good bit so maybe pnp, or just write them down, assign a number and roll a die, I dunno...they were worth it for me.

I'm no writer, so these rules and resources that I've cobbled together may not flow well, but it serves as a reminder to me (I hadn't planned on publishing this). If there are any questions feel free to ask. Do whatever you want with these as well and make it work for your group.

(oh, this isn't in my document, but when placing a named room tile, we _always_ draw a random appropriate encounter card for that room from the named room cards. Also, I use the allys from DC: Heart of Cormyr, but LoD has some as well.)

Well....it doesn't look like I'm having any luck attaching the rules and characters. Too large? I dunno.

Unless anyone has a good tip, I guess you'll have to pm me and I'll email them.

I use DropBox for all of our Play By Email games. May look into it.

Ok, let's try this dropbox thing...

www.dropbox.com/home/Public/DDAS

Is this working for anyone? Do you also have access to non-public folders? This one's new to me.

Those character sheets are REALLY cool! I don't think I'll ever buy more than Ravenloft, but I did have those Ravenloft decks printed, and I did get the undead Dungeon Command box. It's nice to be able to use the later game heroes via these character sheets without owning the game.

Yep. Drizzt, Bruener, and Catti-Brae (sp?) are not re-skinned in this set of characters as they're a bit more powerful and have their own 'stance' rule. I wanted all the characters available for players to be somewhat equal.

That Astrogate 'dwarf berserzer' from Drizzt has become a dwarf miner (the D&D mini I use has a pick in each hand so having two named weapons worked). There are two other characters I plan on adding in the future. The drow swashbuckler in Drizzt will become a standard elf swashbuckler and Ninjadorg has an elf bard which looks to be pretty balanced and will be the only 'non-ddas' character in the set.

Artscow has a 20% off and free shipping deal going (SPRING20OFF).

Going to add this deck of treasure to my campaigns.

I haven't played any of the DDAS games, but this sounds really cool, and everything that Descent: Road to Legend should have been.
