OMFG- Mushroom Eaters

I think the 500 was just to throw something out. As I understand it he'll take orders and then make as many as needed.

I'm unconvinced by Michael's review, or really I was more convinced that this game would get one play, then be shelved.

Wonder if he'll consider making a prequel "Mushroom Growers" or something.

So they've started taking orders on The Mushroom Eaters, it's $82. Is it worth $82? That's a good chunk of change, and could buy me a couple of other games. Like Relic and its expansion with change left over.

Good advice. Maybe I'll get to play The Mushroom Eaters someday, but I don't think I absolutely need it in my collection. Not that I _need_ Relic, or Wiz-War, or Claustrophobia, but I know I'll enjoy any of those.

Honestly, this is the kind of game that simply is not really for most game players. It isn't something that will be widely played or even played often. But it's a very special and completely unique game. It is just on a different level than games tend to be, and if you are down with that then that $82 is WELL worth it and it is by far a better purchase than anything published by FFG. But if you're just curious (and you should be), playing it once or rice with somebody else's copy will likely slake your thirst for it.

Claustrophobia is really great, buy that over Relic.

I have mine on order...Along with the unpainted shaman pawn.

Is it possible to play solo?

Depends on how many grams you eat.
