It's a Kickstarter... I'm in for $30... mostly just to play with the software. I can't see building an entire army with this tool, but for a couple of one shots I might use it.

That looks interesting. I was wondering when 3-D printers would start capitalizing on the miniature market. Let everyone know how the design experience goes for you.

i'm always a little dubious of the quality of minis until i see a third party non professional image of them. But this software does look cool. I've always wanted a John Falstaff esc miniature but never been able to find something suitable.

This look like create-a-wrestler from video games. Post a review when you get it, Joel!

I'll ping the creators and see if they will let me feature the software in a video.

Only the highest res units can produce really high quality models - the fine details tend to disappear between software and hard copy with Makerbots and the lower end machines.

I'd probably back this project were there any sci-fi selections. I have about 300 fantasy models (not including the Kickstarter Reaper shit I'm trying to offload but that nobody wants) to paint and that's pretty much all I need, ever, for life.

They said they will probably be ready to have the software highlighted around October.
