The one time we tried it, it made the game last even longer, for no benefit compared to the card combat. Sure is simple though. Boring too.

Looks like FFG posted up a set of PDFs that allow you to bring your third edition up to speed with the changes.

This is really cool. I'm glad they went this route without requiring us to buy a new copy or some conversion kit. I posted my old version in the Math Trade, but this might mean I'm submitted a blank wantlist for it...
