I saw this and it looks pretty awesome. But I managed to pick up sandworm Dune recently so I'm trying to convince myself that sandworm Dune is the only Dune.

I simply cannot allow praising this redesign into my worldview.

It looks good, but honestly one of the best things about the Dune game is that it so greatly captures the aspects of the Dune novel. Isn't this why Rex got so much less love? I guess I just don't get why you'd want to change the greatest strength of the game.

I would like to see an attempt to resurrect the original Roman theme. Does anyone know if there are any articles or anything about the origin theme behind the game?

I didn't realize there was an original theme. I thought it was based around Dune and was original.
