Expansion for Merchants and Marauders: Fact or Fiction?

I think a few days back Gary Sax claimed there was an expansion in the works for M&M but I have been unable to find any news or info about it.

Is it true?

Christian Marcusson, are you out there lurking? You usually are. What can you tell us?

Marcusson was posting in a thread on the M&M TOS forum confirming that the expansion exists, but was coy about specifics or release date.

In case Christian's reading it, more players please. I don't care if it's not balanced, for me it's an ultimate choose your own adventure storytelling game. Beers, pretzels etc. Doesn't matter who wins the most fun way to do it is what counts.

So I'm reading the rules for this game, all good and normal. Then I get to the page about ship to ship combat. Holy shit it is brutal. Other players with better seamanship can SKULL FUCK you in this game and you can't escape!!!

Confirmed... Z-Man posted something about working on the artwork for it on their Facebook page.

Seamanship is the most important skill. Last game I played against Repoman, a NPC pirate sloop with 3 Seamanship almost sunk my Galleon with 2 Seamanship.

I hope Marcusen doesn't listen to anyone online about what to put in the expansion. One idiot like me can think they're a game designer for 2 minutes and post some bullshit like "put in mermaids and dancing with the governors daughters in the expansion". Personally, I'd rather trust Marcusen to think up some cool things that won't screw up an already great game.
