What HEROSCAPE should I buy?

(I am taking one for the team, as Mr. Barnes has fallen to the Dark Side of the Board. Euros everywhere. It's like being at Essen at his house of late. Someone needed to take bold action to ensure that Fortress: AT does not become Festung: Ameri-müll)

My kids have been calling dice "wurfels" and asking if there is a "Das Kartenspiel" version of everything we play, so the intervention is timely.

I can't wait, I never went all in with Heroscape so I'm excited to explore it all, especially with the kids.

BTW, I did throw one Euro-bomb into Pete's box...heh heh heh. Right on top.

Just when I thought I'd never agree with Barnes' opinion on any games...

My favorites are Nilfheim (the big white ice dragon), Krug (troll with a big cleaver), and all of the orcs.

When I'd get the big LEGO castles for Christmas as a kid, I'd follow the directions. Likewise, when I first started playing Heroscape, I used the scenarios out of the book - Migol's Tomb was always a fun one to set up with all of the height and that overhang. That map made me really like the Airborne Elite.

I tended more towards the tournament aspect of the game, but I had fun with my niece and nephew with it too. I've written an entire book on Heroscape, so I'll just stop right here.
