OUTRIDER Kickstarter Preview

Josh said it sucked. I don't agree, but I don't think it's 100% pure distilled awesome either. I rated it a 7/10. Solid seven, and it would've been better had the attack rules been better, with emphasis on damage increases.

Still hoping for something to replace Dark Future, and by the looks of it, this isn't it.

This is actually not that far a cry from Dark Future, and actually, I think it's a good deal simpler and more fun. I wish I'd have thought about that, because it would've been a splendid comparison point.

I think the only real bummers about this game, as a whole, are that it could've been simpler in the bonus/neg arena, and the weapons most certainly should've been able to do more than one point of damage.

Off topic, but I am still amazed that you have yet to review Wiz-War, Pete. It just seems like a game that would be right up your group's alley judging by reading your reviews over the past 4 years.

It's because I don't own it, sadly. I'd love to get it, but I'm in the middle of remodeling half my house. As soon as that changes, I'm going to break down and buy it and all of its expansions.

Of late, I've played this, Hoodrats, and Elfenland. Oh, and Journey to the Center of the Earth and Escape. I still have 4 games here that I haven't even opened...

TL;DR: Pete be broke as fuck.
