FFG's Battlelore is now available for iStuff and Android. I'm interested, but would like to hear all of your valued reactions before I drop $10 on it because I'm cheap. Anyone played it?

Looks cool. I'll probably grab it some time when I'm bored.

I have it. Played the tutorial. Very slick. Very polished, although there are some oversights when playing on a phone (can't blow up text for lore powers, for example). It's all Runebounded up, so it comes across even more like a Warcraft clone in some ways, at least visually.
Gameplay seems to be intact, I haven't played 2nd edition but I'm guessing the unfamilar bits are from that. One thing that's kind of strange to me is that it's kind of disorienting to play a C&C game where there are units coming at you from all sides. Usually C&C is all about the set piece, head-on confrontation. Could be interesting though, just not used to it with this system.
Rules are very literal. No real-time shenanigans or anything like that. Turn phase is 1:1, for example. You pick a card, select units to order, then move, then combat.
It looks a little cluttered, but good. Maps are totally 3D, as are the units that look pretty janky.
V/Os on the interstitials, a nice touch.
Tutorial is really good, explains pretty much everything.
It definitely feels like a $10 app, not a $1 or free one. Definitely carries on the high quality from Elder Sign.
FTR- it seems to play really well on the 5S, as long as you're OK with the smaller screen. I actually wouldn't have bought it right away if it were just iPad.

Oh, no Async. Which sucks. But there is a skirmish mode against CPU, which is something I really like.
