I think a re-theme would be fine. The mechanisms in the video game were never really exclusive features if you'd played a few 3rd/1st person games. I skipped on this because I didn't want to play a game where I get to play as Generic Musclehead #1, Generic Musclehead #2, etc. A re-skin with cool, interesting characters would be great.
Traded for the game... also managed to get the last copy from Miniature Market of the POD expansion, glad you guys pointed out how rare that'll probably get now that they don't have the license.
Well gee Fantasy Flight, thanks for making me desperate to get a copy of a game that wasn't even on my wishlist. Like I don't have enough unplayed games already, without this and the other games I'm inevitably going to buy to save on postage and push it over £100 for a 0.03% discount.

Ok. Can someone then explain to me why copies of what I assume is a print-on-demand expansion are rare and not, erm, everywhere seeing as they're print-on-demand?
Yeah I wonder if they will be dumping it again next year in FFG's sale. The POD is already up to $20 on Amazon. It might hit $50ish before the end of the year.

Well, the whole business strategy of print on demand is not to have to carry major inventory of the expansions, right? So they keep just enough out to stores to keep them stocked.
Well, that means infinite supply---until their license dries up and they contractually can make 0 more. Which means that the advantage of PoD (small inventory) means that there are very, very few out in the wild.

Still psyched I got MM's last copy of the print on demand while prices are already going up. So on to gameplay---playing solo, am I right in thinking it's best to play solo with two characters? Seems like some of the gameplay options are contingent on having multiple players cooperating.
