Greyhawk is the ONLY setting for me and my crew. I've always hated Forgotten Realms... but that's the beauty of D&D, you can do whatever the fuck you want.

Doesn't that "honor" belong to Tomb of Horrors?

Anyway, yes for sure. I have the first two and just broke out Ravenloft again last weekend to much pleasure.

Yep. I'm running my son through old 1st e modules brought up to 3.0 (I like it,fuck you). Instead of the FR, I'm using the backdrop from the Knights of Legend PC game, including kitbashed monsters from it.

Looks like part of my tax return just got spoken for.

I really don't play these games as much as I'd like already, but I don't even care. I want a shelf full of D&D games.

FYI:

Here's my press release:

Hi Pete,

Today, Wizards of the Coast announced the latest Dungeons & Dragons storyline, Elemental Evil, which includes new product offerings for both digital and tabletop RPG players.

The Elemental Evil storyline will begin this March and run through mid-summer allowing players to explore the Forgotten Realms and defeat the secret cults that threaten to wipe out the Sword Coast.

Some of the exciting new product offerings tied to the Elemental Evil story line includes:

• Neverwinter: Elemental Evil, a new module for the MMORPG
• Princes of the Apocalypse tabletop RPG adventure, including new options and spells for players
• Player content including more new races, plus the content found in Princes of the Apocalypse, available as a free downloadable PDF
• Elemental Evil-themed Dungeon Master Screen and unpainted resin miniatures from Gale Force Nine
• Temple of Elemental Evil adventure system board game and pre-painted collectible miniatures that support the Elemental Evil storyline from WizKids Games

We encourage you to share this news with your readers. To support your piece, you can download high-res images here and view the full press release below.

Learn more about the Elemental Evil storyline at DungeonsandDragons.com.

Thanks,
-Sheila

So this game is going to be printed by WizKids. Did I get that right? I question how effective that will be for seamlessly integrating the game with the other three.

I question how effective that will be in terms of quality and quality control in general. Truly, for a company whose bread-and-butter is (probably) in miniatures, their work is often of shod.

It's being printed by Wizards/Hasbro, but the miniatures are being printed by Wizkids, I believe.

Imagine, if you will, wizkids' paper thin tiles for a D&DAS game.

The first three games were firmly adapted from 4th edition what with the PC powers (at will, dailies, etc.). I wonder if this one will integrate as seamlessly in the range, considering they just released a pretty different version of D&D.

Also: Dark Sun. That is all.
