It's kind of amazing that even with the silly cards limiting their responses they still find a word that will let them be as boring and unbelievable as is possible. Everything sounds about as cliche as it could... which is one of the reasons politics is so boring, we've become so hyper critical that people are afraid to reveal anything about themselves that is even slightly controversial.
But the real gem here is how big Cards Against Humanity has become. My FB news feed is filled with people who play this game, I meet non-gamers on a regular basis who ask me about it and I hear it being recommended to lots of people. At Christmas they managed to sell actual bull shit in a box that said 'bullshit' on the side.. or so the story goes.
The game sounds all right I suppose but I feel like I've played another couple that are almost identical. But with a catchy title, good promotion and slick packing the whole thing just screams anti-gamer.. or more precisely 'fun without the nerdiness' and as a result it's selling really well and earning some impressive market visibility. I even hear this game being advertised on comedy podcasts. Gilbert fucking Gottfried does ads for them on his show for example (fascinating podcast too if you like old Hollywood and monster movies).
