And I'm a God Damned Game Designer!!
boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/116626/axle-tribes

So, shortly after college my buddy and I decided to try our hand at putting together our own ruleset. We went with a post appoc world of driving cars around all Mad Max style using Hot Wheels and parts from our bits box. We threw these together over a handful of late night drinking sessions and it actually turned out to be a pretty fine game (at least we thought so).

Which leads me to my next question:
Where the fuck's my game designer badge at BGG? And where's my steady stream of gamer bitches?

EDIT: I should also add that I'm not the one who submitted it to BGG. Is there a way to find out who did? And it sounds like someone might have the PDF's kicking around. Those have been lost long ago. Funny way to start out my Monday!

Ahh the internet is a beautiful thing:
Axle Tribes

Some group up in Seattle appears to have archived the files. I haven't looked at these in 8 years or so. This will be a fun week I think. I should dig up the counters I have and the models I was converting. I think I still have an Oscar Meyer Weinermobile that I had plans for.

More to the backstory: My friend and I were on whatever version of 40k and WFB griping about the cost. So we started to think what could be the cheapest miniature rules we could come up with. Our first thought were to Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars you can buy for $1 and thinking about our bits box from 40k...Axle Tribes was born. With $10 we went to WalMart for cars and then to Office Depot with some sheets fresh off the printer to laminate for counters. So this was our version of miniature gaming on a budget.
