Pandemic LEGACY...and nobody is talking about it????

Part of what I liked about Risk: Legacy was that it took a game that was long, drawn out, and mechanically flawed and turned it into a campaign that was more fun. I never played Pandemic and thought, "this needs to be broken into multiple sessions and have new rules added to it over time." But who knows, it could be a lot of fun. Some people I know have said that the dice game is fun, and I never thought that was necessary either.

@Drew: Thanks for the link. This really makes it a lot clearer. Sadly, I'm not paying 70$ for it, but it really does look awesome. Love the RPG aspects of the roles.


Well, anything that breaths life back into a good game is good. And, Pandemic is a good game and a great design. The variant needs a better combat system. Like I said, I just borrowed the one from Zombies!!! because I used its figures. I hope that you take it and add to it. I really think that half of our games can be house-ruled and home-brewed to come up with something different. At the time, I wanted something more to Pandemic, had just finished reading World-War Z, and wanted to fight off the zombie contagion, and, of course, kill zombies.
