From Strange Remnants I like:
4 solid investigators
Focus mechanic is necessary
Mystic ruins and pregame don't interest me
Sygynz or whatever is an ok GOO

From Signs of Carcosa:
I really like Wendy, but the other investigators are a little less interesting than SR (IMHO)
Permanent skill point reductions are really punishing. They are balanced but they make me salty.
Hastur is a fun GOO

Both sets are going to add to your base encounters, add unique allies, add a few other things. So tough call. I guess I'd go with Strange Remnants between the two, but just barely. Tough call. Both nice and solid though. I think the small boxes are where its at, there hasn't been a stinker yet. I'm not planning on buying the big boxes unless i get a deal or something.
