Catacombs

Let's not turn this into a "How poorly this KS was run" thread because really, in comparison to TONS of other projects, it wasn't that bad.

I've never played before, how does this game now stack up in a post-Flick 'Em Up world? I generally love dexterity games, so I have no doubt I'll dig, I'm just looking for people's opinions on it without the KS hate train stopping by.

I haven't seen anything from Billy in years. Sure do miss that guy. I actually tried to do some business with him a while back...didn't pan out but not his or my fault...just didn't fly. He's one of the good ones, in my book.

Elzra games just completed a new Catacombs kickstarter and you can still get in on the goods (the Late Backer program looks to bypass Kickstarter completely). They are releasing a new standalone expansion called Catacombs and Castles which features Overlord and a "PvP game types. Also mentioned during the kickstarter is a card game, a digital version of Catacombs 3rd, and army packs for Catacombs and Castles down the line. Being that I never got a copy of Catacombs 3rd, buying all of it except the hero packs shipped for about $150 USD was pretty awesome.

Very glad I kickstarted the original PvE version... good game. Need to play it more. You need to be fucking good to win.

Catacombs is fucking hard.

Play with 4 heroes ALWAYS, and it's still better than Flick Em Up because of the campaign/buff characters aspect.

Sheesh. I didn't even know there was a new is project.
