Its not just you, nor is that a bad thing.
I'm not sure this would be considered a classic had this been released during GWs heyday. But, knowing how TOS's user base works, it would bound to be true.
Its an OK game. I do think its just an excuse to tack on some rules to sell 4 plastic models to imperial 40k players. But as a self contained game it works.
I had higher expectations which marred my experience.
And for armchair game designers who enjoy 40k background, there is a lot of potential here.
My biggest gripe for this game, is that it didn't offer more variety in the adversary models.
This stems from reading the eusenhorn and ravenor series, and enjoying them quite a bit. There are more targets that just "the chaos threat" for the inquisition, and that's what I hoped that they would have explored straight out of the box.
But it is good to see there is a bit more support for it from the black library.
[Edit]
Thinking about it further, I believe that the genestealer cult adversaries would have made this game more compelling, while still keeping the exact same rules. The chaos thing is just so over done, and more often than not, unconvincingly. But the assassins infiltrating a broodlords sewer hive and eliminating the broodlord before it spawns a new sort of undetectable genestealer hybrid would be cool.
Still possible to do right now, but I don't want to buy overwatch just to have a more personally compelling game.

I owned it like 10 years ago. I sold it on BGG to some VP in Blizzard of all places (he bought it through the BGG Marketplace). It was a good game, but the cards were shit and it really needed minis.

Weirdly, Amazon has 16 copies of Hour of Glory for $47.
