KDU#16 - KDM Reprint Confirmed!
I am getting slammed everyday with emails from people all over the world asking about Kingdom Death:Monster. “Do you have any left in stock?” “Will there be a reprint?” “Can I buy your copy?!”

The volume is crazy and I totally give in. Let's do it, let's make more! Reprint confirmed. That's all the detail I can share at this time.

I'm actually hoping it is a new Kickstarter and not a restock of the $400 inventory.

I wonder how much the demand for any Kickstarter game can go up before triggering another Kickstarter run.

To the topic: There is absolutely no boardgame-sized amount of paper, cardboard, and plastic I would not sell for $1000, unless it was some extremely sentimental gift or something.

I would like to see more games that fit in an International $5.00 DHL box. This is what Eklund did with Greenland, which I ordered when I lived in Qatar. Even though I never played it, it was nice to know that I could get a decent game over there if I had to, without selling a kidney. So oddly, as shipping prices increase and kill the the second hand market, the major publishers and kickstarter offerings consist of piles of plastic.

Somebody sell me your copy of Pax Pamir.

I suspect I am an android in human skin, hence, immortal. You may have a long time to wait, pesky human.

It says in your file that you've got six months, Replicant.

What is our F:AT term for unpublished prototype? Is it Game Z? I have a Game Z that I wouldn't sell for $1,000, for a few reasons:

1. My game is based directly on a series of books, and the author's estate won't even discuss a game license with anybody. I don't have the legal right to sell my game.

2. I went to a lot of trouble to assemble my prototype and can sometimes get a game together, so it isn't for sale.

3. I am currently constructing a second prototype set as a gift for a friend who helped me out in a major way while I was unemployed. Taking into account cost of materials and my hourly rate at work, my friend will be receiving a present that is worth more than $1,000 to me. He will like the game, and he has a ready play group that will also like it, so he may also value the game highly.

My copy of Space Hulk. The 60 hours of painting plus the cost of the game itself would make it nearly impossible for me to sell it for a grand.

900/60=$15/hr and I'm not sure I could find someone to paint a new copy to the same level for $15 an hour. I've never looked so maybe I'm way off.

Easy my Carrom boards. I have three Carrom boards now, Synco 6, 14, and 20mm thick, with two more in my near future: the American board I learned on and a Hexagon one for six player action. I do not have anywhere close to a 1k in them (easily $500), but it is like asking a pool shark to sell his lucky cue. I bought the 6mm first (back in the late 90s), then needed a second board and got the 20mm second hand cheap, then had someone give me the 16mm at a convention.

Though for standard games, I would let any of them go for 1k. Even all three of my copies of Dune (unpunched and a well played Sting Cover, and 90s version).

Not a chance in hell I'd sell my Lucasi cue. I've had it for years. Good call on that one, Billy
