Kickstarter for Kingdom Death reprint confirmed.

According to Beasts of War there will be a kickstarter for a Kingdom Death 1.4 coming sometime this year.



Interesting, I kind of want it but I also have doubts as to how much play it would actually get. It seems like the type of game you would need to dedicate your gaming group to, almost like an rpg or at the very least a legacy game.

whelp, I'm in.

Game is awesome but I have one huge problem with it. It takes up so much space I can't leave it setup on my gaming table (weekly gaming is at my place). No way I can put it away and easily get it back out.

It's also demanding to play, partially for the space and time commitment (and I play solo).

Otherwise, amazing.

Is it pretty playable solo?

God, I'm not sure I could even do the modeling on these.

I've played 9 out of my 10 plays solo. No rules modifications needed, you just need to control 4 survivors which isn't bad.

Any chance this doesn't wind up being stupid expensive? I was under the impression that he drastically under-estimated the cost for this thing originally, and wound up sending out to backers at a pretty big loss. I bet he makes up for that with this run.
