Dungeon saga or silver tower?

Well, THAT guy did not like Dungeon Saga! It's a good review with no punches pulled.
But you know what that guy can't do? Tell me not to stop having fun with my toys!

Just a quick push back: the reviewer IS looking at HeroQuest with rose colored glasses. Counting to 14 alone doesn't discount the fact that core HeroQuest quests are simple affairs with crappy leveling. I make this judgement with full acknowledgement that HQ is a glorious romp of adventuring.

Also, the DS mini scale matches their Kings of War line. And their entire miniature line. They're smaller.

Lastly, there are no secret doors in DS. At least, none that I've encountered. "Missed opportunity."

Are the leveling/campaign/create a character rules for Dungeon Saga any good?

Star Trek Ascension seems like a theme shoehorned onto a game. Star Trek is not about conquest. For a brilliant Star Trek game that feels like Trek, check out Fleet Captains.

^depends on the series; DS9 seems closer to Ascension.

That's the feeling I got from Star Trek Frontiers, but everything I've read about Ascension makes it sound like it really captures the feel of Star Trek. Fleet Captains was fun the two or theee times I played it as well though.
