So after a few years of being too busy as fuck to do much of anything, I have some leisure time again. Have I missed anything in gaming the last four years or so?

The only thing I've bought has been Imperial Assault, which is pretty great and rivals Space Hulk for best dungeon crawler. Except neither game is a real dungeon, but real dungeons don't have space guns so they can fuck right off. Oh, and Codenames has become a new favorite drinking game.

Maybe I'll buy some new stuff, or maybe I'll just jam more terminators into a hall filled with gene stealers while snowtroopers are fist-fucked by some jedi. Who knows?

This might be a good time to do another F:AT board game top ten list? There have been a lot games released since you've been away, but, only a few created new branches of the stream worth exploring or even mentioning. The abomination and Leviathan that is Kickstarter has created expensive, overproduced, and bloated atrocities. The cult-of-the-new's meat grinder has caused many to embrace the Emperor's Light at GW to participate in miniature worship and idolatry.

I thought Barney was from Quebec? If so, he's only a half Canadian. The bad half.

Wiz-War re-released in 2012, and Gorechosen in 2016.
Heroscape was also re-released as a magic rebranding in 2015, which is currently on fire sale everywhere.
