Shadow War: Armageddon
Does anyone know how they work? Are you supposed to play them using another faction's rules? Or maybe I missed their rules somewhere?

AM because of the Armageddon fluff, but I guess the Cadian set is far more common. The other stuff FW is saying is for SWA are special operatives and some conversion kits.

I started painting those pipes last night, they're pretty good. The GW stuff is a little expensive but you may have pushed me over the edge with the crates.
Still looking forward to the Promethium Forge stuff. I'd love to be able to cover two tables with terrain so my group can play two games at once.

Just picked up these for a cool $12...going to paint them a more neon green for some chemical spills/hazardous floor terrain.

The PF stuff is neat and all, but I kind of feel like it is a "warehouse club" kind of thing. In other words you are buying an "OK" thing but in bulk...when you might have chosen another brand or option at another store while paying more.
My $144 pledge actually bought a lot of what is on my table.
But hey, I am looking forward to seeing what you guys do with it.

Come prepainted but are more than $13.
One of my favorite Necromunda scenarios was the White Dwarf mini campaign "It Came From The Sump" which featured a mutated creature that emerged from a toxic pool and was hunting gangs (think Alien). You could confront it in a scenario or I think it could randomly show up. It was damn scary.

Question for those of you who have a complete rulebook. Are the scenarios terrain-specific, or terrain-suggestive, or anything (terrain-wise)?

They all suggest a 4' x 4' space. The only terrain-specific one that I can think of involves a raid on a bunker, and there is a door that considered the entrance to the bunker. You can pretty much lay them out however you like. There are no suggestions given in this regard. It actually would have been nice for them to show a sample layout. But almost all the shots they provide show at least 3 boxes worth of terrain.

Plus, if you are doing 3 and have the terrain, you really want to go more vertical than outward.
Used to play Necromunda on just the cardboard terrain and the tabletop...

Here's the thing about Doc's. If it's something new and he has it, you're good. If not...he will still take orders for it and try to get it from his distributor. Which is kind of a crap shoot. I've had things take a month from him. And then, he will hold your order waiting on something to come in, which is kind of irksome. I get new releases from him, but no back catalog/low stock stuff.
