Gorechosen minus minis for $20. Should I do it?

Title says it all. Not sure if it's worth the extra bucks for the minis.

Depends if you want them or not. You can play with tokens, proxies, whatever. But if you want the figures, you will NOT save money buying them separately- they are like $20-$25 a piece.

Is it worth it to buy Gorechosen *with* the minis and then sell them separately on Ebay?

Don't mind proxying

Otherwise, you can buy it for around $45 with the minis included.

That is a great deal. Miniatures don't really add to the gameplay, so you can replace them with tokens. At a minimum, you can just copy some images either from the rule book or online, print them off, glue them to cardboard, and separate them with scissors.

When I bought Silver Tower without minis, that's what I did, except that I printed them off on high quality paper, punched the pictures with a 3/4" hole punch, and mounted them with craft glue on wooden nickels. There are several companies that sell wooden nickels online, and they cost about a nickel each. Or buy a dowel rod and use a saw to make your own nickels.

Am I the only person concerned about the introduction of organic currency into the monetary supply, and the possible effects that will have on the economy?

There are four bonus characters in Gorechosen that didn't come with minis in the box. It would be easy for you to sub those in with tokens. Or if you're using alternative minis, it is easy enough to say that this mini represents this character for this play of the game.

What scale are the miniatures in Gorehosen?

Oh wait, Gore-hosen is the game of brutal killing and Lederhosen. I always get those mixed up.
