Don't forget that FFG shipping pretty much deletes any savings.
Who wants some ANIMA products?
A couple of decent things there from Queen...good Eurogames that nobody wants anymore like Shogun, Augustus, Chicago Expresss...all really good games. Wiz-War Bestial Forces is the only thing I'd buy if I didn't already have it.
I put a hypothetical $210 of games in my basket and shipping came to $37, or 17 percent. Games I would buy, most of which I have owned and sold:
Shogun and expansion
City of Remnants
Tragedy Looper and expansion
Jamaica (as a present for a family)
But practical Cranberries says, "There is no way I will play any of these in the foreseeable future." I then pick up my Marie Kondo book and start throwing out everything in my life that doesn't make me quiver in ecstasy.
What's wrong with Black Fleet anyway? It was like... $60? Then reduced to $30? It's super cheap locally.
It's a super fun game, like, maybe twice. Then you realize how boring the deterministic combat is. It's all about movement and positioning. The game is basically checkers with neat pirate ships. I sold it off and never regretted it.
Forgot to mention -- Ventura for 5 bucks made me laugh. How many years now has FFG tried to unload this game during their holiday sale?? They must have warehouse full of that game.
