Rules as written, you are not supposed to move your standee. But if doing so increases your enjoyment of the game, DO IT. The bullet should be as close to the standee as is comfortable. Keep in mind that if you are at a corner or door arrow (the orange triangles) you can put the bullet in the OPPOSING arrow square. Page 17 of the rules.
