I'm thinking of printing out the print and play Up Front, and maybe Magic Realm. But probably not Magic Realm. It looks like a bitch to reprint.

Yeah, both MOV and Magic Realm have great PnP options but they are a bitch to make. I've been sorely tempted, I just know I'd fuck it up and it would look shitty at the end...

How does Up Front play? Any good? the magic realm descriptions entice me very much.

Up Front is amazing, I haven't played it as much as I should have. Soooooo far ahead of its time.

Cursed by the usual hard to digest Greenwood rulebook.

I wish there would be a LEGO Star Wars Epic Duels, with all LEGO minifigs and board. That would be awesome.

"Rise from your grave!"

I've decided that what I could really go for is a new edition of Chainsaw Warrior...if FFG could get it in one of those little Silverline boxes the size of Death Angel.

I picked CW up on Steam. It's a fun time waster. I lose just as much in electronic form as I did in the board version.

I'd like to see Blood Royale get a reboot. So much potential there.

Also, I want a Man O' War remake.

If they don't make a Thunder Road reprint or adaptation of Mad Max, they are fucking stupid.

I'd like to see Broadsides and Boarding Parties remade, but that will never happen.

I'd love to see them remake Dark Tower, too.

I've played Dark Future. How is Thunder Road different/better?

I've played both and Dark Future extensively.

Thunder Road is a light, mainstream game. You have three cars that basically roll dice to see how many spaces forward they move each turn. If they hit a wreck they may go out. One space away from an enemy and you may shoot them (iirc, everything has only one hit point). Go too slow and you fall off the board and out of the game. It's a quick race game.

It's a lot of fun, but ultimately I found it too light and had to trick it out with cards from Wreckage for weapons, graboids for more obstacles, etc. Ultimately sold it though:

I guess it's a Battle Masters to Warhammer sort of thing. One you can just drop and play. The other involves modelling, builds, charts, campaigns, etc. I usually prefer the latter.
