Recent Topics paging, uploading images and preview bugs require a patch which has not yet been released.

I think you've nailed it here. There's no goddamned way I'm going to cut up some cardboard and make tokens or whatever the hell. But I have no qualms about printing some stickers to slap on the pieces that come in the "Dune" game FFG puts out.Maybe I will buy the FFG edition when it comes out, and then re-theme the components with label paper copies of the original. That way, I have a clear conscience about paying for the game, but I pay a reasonable price and also get the theme I want.

I will probably buy the new on too but i expect they will feel very different, even with the same mechanics.

Dune plays fine with five ... and, as suggested, the easiest faction to leave on the sidelines is the BG.I've had the fortune to never play the game with less than six, believe it or not...but Robert says it's fine with five, and I think it would be- leave out the Bene Gesserit.
I'm not sure how a four-player game would play. I suspect it would still be fun, but I'm just not convinced. My advice would be: "kidnap a fifth player."
