So i basically have everything Columbia ever made for this game.
Things is, I just don't care for the game. I thought having generic units, geomorphic maps, and the abilitity to have 6 players would be cool...but it's just to lacking for me. I guess I just don't care for symmetrical conflict.
I need player powers. The lack of any real scenarios kill it for me.
Anyone interested in this game? It's not bad, and i know it has a following, i'd just like to get rid of it mostly (well trade or sell it). I haven't had any luck trying to unload on the 'geek.

I'm wrestling with Asia Engulfed right now and enjoying it quite a bit, actually. I hear you on the player powers thing... I feel like a lot of the Columbia games, not just this one seem rather generic. But then I'm a huge CDG fan and I don't mind plenty of chrome at all.

I actually want to get a good block game. Whats the playing time on Asia Engulfed? More or less than Europe Engulfed? I suppose i'm asking about the full campaign.
Actually, I don't have anything dealing with WW2 in the Pacific. I was going to preorder Combat Commander: Pacific though.
I like the fog of war aspect of block games, i just don't like Victory at all though.

"Rommel in the Desert" and "Napoleon" are good block games.
Napoleon has even has the advantage that it can playable from 2-3, that is because it's about Waterloo and the British and Prussians were fighting against the french. Messages between the two allied commanders can only be sent in night turns, if I remember correctly, and of course they don't see each other blocks, too.
