Anyone have any experience with the World at War series of games? The theme has intrigued me for awhile, but not sure how much I want to invest into the system. Can you get some decent play out of Eisenbach Gap or will you need to pick up other modules to keep the game fresh? Does it capture the feel of modern warfare?

What about the Lock n Load line (Heroes of the Gap)? How does the LnL line differ in play from the WaW? Looks like it's easier to jump into HotG at this point.

Bonus: Anyone play Nuklear Winter 68 yet? Similar system?

I played Blood and Bridges and it's very accessible. Light, quick. I like the way the units activate. But I'll be honest -- it felt like an Eastern Front title to me. Armor in a slugfest.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I have Eisenbach Gap.

Bit simple for my liking, but then you need to take that with a pinch of salt from an ASL fan.

It is fast moving. Not sure I like the mechanism of random unit activations in place of fog of war.
