I saw this game in the damage bin on Thought Hammer's website and even at half off it's still $125! Pretty steep, says I.
I look at the promotional blurb and it's WW2 with diplomacy and economic development. Pretty interesting, says I.
Then I go to TOS looking for some kind of info and there is really only one "review". A half hour long and the guy, who I am sure is a really nice dude and loves gaming, begins with the whole breakdown of components and rules restatement. Even if I made it through the half hour video I have no idea what this guy's tastes are or how good his judgement is. Not very helpful, says I.
He did say it was "Axis and Allies on steroids." Well I already have a game like that, it's called Europe Engulfed. Not very promising, says I.
Then I thought I would ask the F:AT crowd if anybody has played it? Seen it? Thought about it? If so..what's the skinny?

We know that we need a gamer who likes that sort of game to get a review copy and write a review, thereby saving F:ATties collective thousands on copies if it's shite, or enlightening the world if it's not.
Sag? Sag? Sag?
I'd toss my hat in the ring, but unfortunately, the only moral conflict I am privy to is whether to use the right or left hand.

I saw it at Essen, and walked through it with the designer, although I haven't played it.
My opinion: a hot mess. Lots of interesting ideas, but it's a vanity project and doesn't seem well tested. Lots of different subsystems bolted on to try to tackle everything imaginable.
