I pre-ordered and betrayed myself....

Oh well, at least I didn't order two.

You know you wanted to, no shame.

It has already exceeded the 450 order prepub goal.

Fuck, I caved. Oh well, if I don't play it I'm sure I can sell it in a few years for 400 dollars, with the rate it sold out at the probable small print run.

That's it Sax...I'm coming to Lubbock! You better put some splintery mesquite boards across a couple ramshackle saw horses...or whatever it is you use in that wasteland to play games on.

We are gonna play this Mo-fo...if only to lower the resale value! Unpunched in Shrink? Fuck that.

I can buy a heavily used 1980 F350, we can drink cans of bud light lime, and set up a table in the bed of the truck. Though the wind would be a problem.

That's not a table, that's a grill.

I have not purchased this yet, but still considering merely for the financial aspect. That's stupid of course, but I think as speculation goes a big monster MMP game is likely the blue chip board game of choice with a solid dividend attached. It's a rare mix of irrational demand and improbable supply. A $100+ leverage arm doesn't hurt any.

Though I didn't preorder, I did pick it up for about that price from NWS.

So far, I'm very impressed with it: thegamebox.gamesontables.com/index.php?topic=554.0

Just about finishing up, so expect a review soon.

To be fair, it should be noted that at least half of those 2,240 chits are strength markers. Not that they don't have to be clipped, lest we devolve into animals, but it's not like they are units.

In the end I needed the money and didn't buy it. There's been a bit of a kerfuffle about it. I don't know who's right, but there's something infuriating in the manner that Dean and his insular playtest group descend from CSW to "enlighten" everyone, even if they are right. I strongly dislike CSW poster culture is probably what it comes down to.
