War in Europe SPI

I used to have this when I was a boy but two marriages and a burning of all my games leaves me depressed that I don't have this classic. I've heard bad things about the Decision Games reissue. Can anyone elaborate on the main problems with the DG version?

I would like to get hold of a copy of War in Europe does anyone have any contacts or wish to rid themselves of yet another game they will never play?

I am not familiar with the game at all, but in general DG tends to change things, sometimes substantially, from the original ( cf Wacht am Rhein, the upcoming Atlantic Wall ) . And almost always, makes the game more complicated and errata prone.

The good news with them reprinting stuff is that the price to obtain the original has almost always dropped .

Given their shoddy QA, I tend to give their shit a wide berth. Too many other good games ( and companies ) out there.

Decision Games = Decision which version to buy?
