Lincoln's War has been getting what I've been calling "begrudging respect", people indicating that they've enjoyed the experience but come away with two-dozen or more rules questions, including some on the basic running gear of the game. More than a few have indicated that it was a missed opportunity. I had the advantage of learning the game from the guy that invented it, so some things that seemed second nature to me apparently weren't clearly delineated in the rules.
Wade Hyett has taken the time necessary to completely rewrite the rulebook, and it just appeared on Consimworld this evening.

This is a copy in Word format, to be followed by a more slicky pdf version in the future.
In news from the when-pigs-fly department, Consimworld is now searchable via Google.
