Re: Ticket to Ride

Looks like you (and everyone else) shows up on my iPad version for invites, so it is compatible.

Pffft...My wife plays this game, and in a 2p game she averages 14 tickets complete and usually gets over 200 points. And she's not even a boardgamer.

Re: Ticket to Ride

If you have two players doing nothing but blocking each other you can end up with no tickets completed by either side. I don't play 2-player (particularly online) because that's all some players live for -- complete a six-point ticket and then make sure the other guy can't complete even that much. It's this ugly degenerate form of the game that's a lesson in frustration.

As far as I'm concerned it's a three-player game minimum.

Would it kill you to put the complete game in the first box?

I think Duke and Superfly play on their iPads with TTR proper.

No, I play TTR Pocket on the iPhone; it's one of the few phone games I actually enjoy.

Everything else, though: iPad. There's just no comparison.

Re: Ticket to Ride

I really like TTR proper. Duke played me a couple of times on Pocket and I crushed him. LMAO

But pocket is not as fun, nearly as playing the game straight through without asynch.

Is real time (and HD) the only substantital difference between the versions? Or is there more?
Oftentimes defeat is splendid, victory may still be shame;
Luck is good, the prize is pleasant but the glory's in the game!
