I know I ain't Michael, but I did a pretty deep first look: thegamebox.gamesontables.com/index.php?topic=329.0
I'd also suggest looking at Boardgamebloggers review - I think it's what sold me on it.

Saw the post and just saw Five Points on clearance at Miniature Market. All the opinions here seem to favor Tammany at 2x the price...

I wasn't that impressed with Tammany Hall. Felt it was good, but not really great or even significantly above average. Highly recommend to try before you buy, because I don't get the love affair.
