It's OOP, probably worth $35-$50 in the real world. There were tons of them made. At one point, I had 10 copies back when I was in business.

I've got this one. Not sure what I'd trade for it. Didn't know it had gotten so crazy spensive.

I just got the new Dicetree games reprint, its very nice with metal coins and better painted horses/jockeys (with numbers), nicer chips and some extra horses and variants. I would imagine that will also push the price down of the older versions

How much is this new one? What do they want me to pay for repainted pennies?

Late to the conversation, but there's only one racing game for me;

MAGICAL ATHLETE.

Awesome, I didn't know WC was reprinted...I'll have to pick that up, my copy is actually showing some wear and tear. Really awesome betting game.

I never did get Magical Athelete...

Michael Barnes wrote: Ave Caesar is one of the best BECAUSE it's so fast-moving. You have three card choices and a couple of tactical movement possibilities each turn with some blocking trickiness and literally like three total rules. It's telling that you're supposed to play multiple races each game, not just one long one.

I played a game of Ave Caesar once where the NPC chariot won the race. Knowing that nothing I did mattered soured me on the game.

you can see Vasel unboxing and reviewing the new one on TOS. The metal coins are nice (but in general I am not fussed by stuff like that), but the betting chips are nicer, and mainly the horses, more easy to tell apart as the jockeys are properly painted now, and numbered. I got mine from an online store in France, I dont know when it gets over the pond. It wasnt much here, so I doubt it will be pricey there either, I paid less than 40 euros for it.

I'll take the corruption of Horse Fever for my only racing game.
