It's best with 3 or 4. I would not be surprised to see a 2-player variant.

I'm thinking that Tigris and Euphrates will now be kings of the world of Terrinoth. Hopefully they did something with the theme, something to make it be more than an abstract tile laying mess.

T&E really is an eternal game. It deserves to be part of the public domain and the universal possession of the human race, with T&E clubs in schools, countless different kinds of hand-crafted game sets all over the world. "Sure he's strong...but not in his weakest colour" should be an instantly recognizable expression used in films, novels and everyday life. Great game.

The only Euros I'd put at the same level as T&E are El Grande, Imperial, RA, and Catan.

was posted along with the
rules
. It has the expansion material, and looks like the VPs/treasures are rectangular cardboard tokens. I've only ever played the iOS version, but I've ordered this one and it feels like cubes or some other chunky piece of plastic/wood would be better suited for VPs. I guess it isn't a big deal, and after playing it I can always add them myself if need be.

Are the tops of the monuments interchangeable? I can see how that would aid production, but that would significantly affect gameplay if there weren't strictly one of each color combination.

Never knew there were any expansions to T&E! Never felt like it needed it either. I've still never played any of the El Grande ones.
