Ratland was created by DracoIdeas
Greetings friends!
I'm pleased to announce that Draco Ideas is working shoulder-to-shoulder with Eclipse Editorial, in the development and Kickstarter campaign of a great title, Ratland.
Ratland is an enjoyable game, for a wide range of gamers regardless their age. The mechanisms are really easy to grasp and the game will provide hours of entertainment to casual and heavy gamers alike. I would like you to take a glance to the campaign it has just started and if you like, to spread the word among your friends. Tell them there is an unique opportunity for the first 48 hours of campaign, in which there is available an Early Bird option.
Ratland is a fun, light-hearted family game where players will try to make their clan of rats the most numerous in the sewers. But first you must gather enough food (cheese) to feed your rats…
Other clans will try to steal your food or beat you to the three areas where food can be found: the dump, the city, and the field.
The fight of survival is fierce in the damp sewers of RatLand. Many rats put their lives at risk by going outside to search for food. Others, less bold, go through the winding dark pipe system to steal cheese from their oblivious neighbors’ pantries; while the most cautious rats stay in the nursery to fulfill the most important role: increase the clan’s population.
Players: 2 - 4.
Minimum recommended age: 8 years old.
Game length: 30 minutes.
Here you have the link to the campaign: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/eclipseeditorial/ratland-conquest-of-the-sewers?ref=d944ih
Thank you in advance for your support!

Another, better word for "nontransparent" is "opaque".
Good luck!

Greetings friends,
We are very happy with the Ratland campaign. We funded it in only 26 hours and we have unlocked many stretch goals!
Our clan of rats continue growing every day! But we are close to the campaign end.
For the final days, we added 5 new stretch goals, but we believe we can get them all unlocked...even the 6 player SG. Also, we have reduced the amount by $2000 to prove that we really do want to unlock everything! Please, help spread the word on Twitter, Facebook (and Groups), and in the forums.
New optional rule: aggressive sewer ($41,000). This rule allows us to choose between playing the normal sewer or the aggressive sewer (on the back of the board). We'll explain the difference at a later date, but it would let us kill other players' rats at the risk of losing our own and being less productive. Fun stuff!
2 new clan cards to be chosen by the backers ($43,000): you can post comments with your own ideas for clans so that in this link we can post the ones we like the best and are the most balanced and playtested. Everyone can vote, or even change your vote if a better option comes up. It will be active a few days after the campaign finishes and we will design and illustrate the clan cards that receive the most votes. docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScJ31qyQSy1nHs3LbORnhvOprWbaEq8BqJA96oEdybhrLSAYw/viewform
2 new rat tokens ($45,000): to add variety to the rat tokens, we'll make two more so that there are 3 types (although this would have no effect on game play).
Starting player token ($47,000): we'll change the starting player token design as the rat on the cover so that it's more visible to all players.
6th player ($50,000): 80 miniature cheese pieces, 115 rat tokens, another board, divider, and set of help cards. Plus, whoever has the rat add-on will receive more rat minis (30 double and 55 individual). This SG will increase our production cost quite a bit but will be worth it and we are confident it can be unlocked!
Thank you and get ready to be a RAT!

Greetings friends!
We are extremely thankful to you for all the support we have received and for sharing on social networking sites. For this reason, we are giving away ALL the Stretch Goals we had planned, including the 6 player one.
There are only 24 hours left!

Greetings friends!
We've done it!
Thanks so much for making RatLand a reality!
These are the next steps:
• KICKSTARTER: for three weeks we'll be waiting for KS to confirm payments and resolve issues. At the end of November we'll send everything off to begin production.
• PLEDGE MANAGER: in December and January, we'll be getting in touch with you all by way of a KS survey to ask for your delivery information, the number of games and the ADD-ONs you want. You can add more units if you wish.
• DELIVERY FEES: in February, we'll send out an email to all the backers with the final, personalized delivery fees for each backer and country, and the difference in respect to what was previously indicated in the Pledge Manager. We'll include a PAYPAL link in order for you to pay the difference if there is one. We'll also include it for those who had difficulty paying through KS.
• MARCH: delivery of games.
We will keep you updated with anything that comes up. Thanks!
