Leaping lizards! That means there's GEEKGOLD to be had! [jumps up and clicks heels together]

I don't know what the elegant Rondel Mechanic is, but it might have that...

You take the pointer off of a spinner and just let players pick the spot the want...it eliminates a lot of the pesky fun inherent in games.

That sounds... Elegant.

If it does not appear in our records, then it does not exist!

The game is missing something IMPORTANT. You can't simply farm shit off the land. Something has to put the shit there, or be shitting. Now, have at it. I can think of 3 dozen hilarious things that could enhance this theme in about 30 seconds.

I think most of it is shipped over from a site who's name cannot be mentioned.

It's a Euro game, how something go there is not important....

How does all of my Indigo suddenly vanish because it doesn't get on a ship? Did it feel dejected because corn was shipped in its place? Corn...WTF?

Well Colleen, based on my one playing, it appears that the shit is actually produced by the workers. I suspect Kristoff had some sort of Euro-friendly ecology theme in mind. The game is also deliciously vague as to what the shit is refined into- I'm thinking it's internet discussion about board games. There's apparently money to be had there. SouthernMan picked up on that, it seems like.

Send me all the files you have and I can translate them to German.

Then we give the game a innovative title. How about Greek?
That would be "Georgos Skata" then. Sounds Euroesque to me.

After that we need all users here to rate it something in between 10 and 8 on boardgamegeek. Everyone also has to create a German user account and rate it a 10. I can give you possible names: Hans Schmidt, Fritz Müller, Detlef Braun, Alfons Hutler, and so on...

Then we need to take pictures of people playing the game, but nobody is allowed to smile!

Unfortunately after we created some hype and revealed that this was all a prank, we will get cyber-crucified...

This is a fantastic idea! I could start a thread "why is Georgos Skata so expensive and hard to find." And then I could post some mathmatical analysis about the proper production/sell ratio. Some tips on optimizing production. And some commentary about the beautiful bits and artwork and how elegantly the game plays out.

Unfortunately there are PLENTY of German folks to point out the iron curtain.

I'm curious to know if the designer is hoping to publish this and actually sell it just to see people flock to a game about shit farming, or is he simply going to create it out of fun and share it with people he knows.

Too obvious.

Nazis are a taboo topic in German boardgames.

Heck, people here even get so far as to give Tom Cruise an award for his "courage" to play a Nazi in 'Valkyrie'.

Heh, if I could get it published I would, but I imagine that even if it were repackaged as the family-friendly "Dung Farmer" I'd still have considerable difficulty. I'll try to get some pictures for the amusement of those here, I am not good at making pictures go out of the camera and in to the computer though, I'll probably need to buy various wires and cables.

Perhaps it is refined into cubes so it can be conveniently shipped to gaming conventions and devoured by undiscerning gamers with overemotional mothers.

Sounds like Police Academy to me.
