Re:F:AT Favorite Economic Games

The economic games I like are few, and they're tied to Clavell stories:

Tai-Pan: The Family Game of Opium Trading in the 1830's.

Noble House: The Family Game of High Finance in 1960's Hong Kong.
Imperial: Yes, we released the Great Darkness... Sue us.

Those are good books, so I bet the games are enjoyable.

I would love to play anything dubbed "The Family Game of Opium Trading" -- I am suprised ol' Nancy didn't bring that down with the war on drugs.

I'm not a big fan of economic games but end up playing themn a lot becuse Dan Baden loves them.

One of my absolute favorite "Avery Moments" was when he got "nuclear" mad at Dan Baden and part of his furious tirade was "I came over and you said we weren't going to play economic games and we did, you know I don't like economic games!"

HAHA!! I Sooooo would have paid to be privy to that particular blowup!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That's hilarious-- I can actually hear him saying it too!
