and now let's go to our Ameritrash championship coverage with our post-game analyst, Ollie Williams. Ollie, what do you figure transpired to determine the winner of the Ameritrash world championship?

ONE DUDE DIDN'T ROLL WELL!

Thanks, Ollie.

Ha-ha! Funny and very true. But loser likely had fun playing. Puerto Rico and many Euros feel more like work rather than play.

So far, in my experience, most Ameritrash games have been the total opposite of fun for me, with certain exceptions. And most euro games have been tons of fun, with certain exceptions (Le Havre).

But I get what you mean. My stepdad refuses to play most Euro games with us cuz he says it feels like work. But he likes Trivial Pursuit and Scrabble too, and I hate those like poison.

OH GEEZ

Jeb's sharked us all - that's THE BEST WAY to impress the king! We're all doomed to end the game 1-2 points behind him in tragic loss.

If you think Puerto Rico is a bad game then you're more concerned with keeping up your "Ameritrash Tough Guy" image than recognizing a game that's genuinely good.

Puerto Rico made me a gamer, and not because it's "elegant" or "full of interesting decisions", but because it's GOOD.

Actually it is average, it is dry and feels limp.

San Juan is a better game because it distills the game down to the fun bit
